In Gilmore Girls, Lorelai Gilmore would always celebrate the first snow of the season.
Lorelai: Can't you smell it? Rory: You know, it's like dogs and high-pitched noises. I think it's something only you can smell. Lorelai: I love snow.
I hate snow.
It creates accidents on the road, it makes for a terrible walk to class, and it melts only to create disgusting gray clumps on the ground.
Now, when I see snowflakes falling, all I can think of is the joy of Lorelai Gilmore. It helps me appreciate the beauty of the snow and the wonderful cozy days that follow.
